Popular country artist Jamey Johnson will perform at IP Casino Resort & Spa’s Studio A on Friday, Aug. 11.
The Alabama-born, Marine veteran is known for writing almost all of his own material, as well as co-writing singles for Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard, Trace Adkins, George Strait, James Otto, Joe Nichols and Jessie James Decker.
Showtime is 8 p.m. Doors open one hour prior to the show, and guests must be 21.
Johnson hit the country music scene in 2005 after being signed to BNA Records. His first single, “The Dollar,” became the title track to his 2006 debut album. After signing to Mercury Nashville just two years later, Johnson released “That Lonesome Song,” his Gold-certified album, which contained the top-10 singles “In Color” and “High Cost of Living.”
Johnson went on to release two more albums, 2010’s “Guitar Song” and a tribute to legend Hank Cochran titled “Living for a Song” in 2012.
